John Savage

Interested in astronomy from an early age - read Patrick Moore avidly. First telescope, a 2.5" refractor, about age 12; like many awed by Saturn. Much more seriously involved since early 2000s. 2016 relocated from Bedfordshire to Dorset for the quiet life and darker skies. Main telescope a Celestron C14 Edge on a 10 micron mount in Pulsar observatory - IAU Z42.

Local society membership: Wessex Astronomical Society, Sturminster Newton Astronomy Group
