I am an amateur astronomer of long standing, since I first looked up at the sky as a child and saw beyond the clouds.  I got to know the constellations with the naked eye and later with binoculars.  I love faint fuzzies, comets, and sky phenomena, including eclipses and aurorae. Cosmology is also of great interest.
