My interest in astrophotography stems from my passion for nature and my excessive curiosity. I think this led to my profession as a biologist (now retired) and my first interest in nature photography. The indelible memory, at the age of 12, of the first vision of the Andromeda core and the large cluster M13 through a telecope built with a cardboard tube, a large magnifying glass from my grandfather and the eyepiece of a school microscope gift from my father (I was able to focus !!) explains all this now ... My main interest is planetary and lunar photography, I have also done some cometary and I am quite interested in the techniques of obtaining deep sky images. Nice to be here
