ccd image and observation My 37th image of L4 Panstarrs is attached; almost the same field as in yesterday's shot, with delta UMi still the brightest star...... The orbital plane spike's PA has swivelled clockwise by a few more degrees..... 20130601 Martin Mobberley

ccd image and observation My 36th image of L4 Panstarrs is attached, showing the first four degrees of the orbital plane spike, as of a few hours ago. The brightest star is once again delta UMi (mag 4.3), or 'Yildun'. This is the first time I've managed to use the full length of the CCD on this system. 20130531 Martin Mobberley

Denis Buczynski captured this NLC display at 23:12 UT on 20130530. Lens used was a Samyang 14mm, F/2.8 at f/4, exposure was 1 sec at ISO 400 using a Canon 1000D. We received a number of photos of this display, but Denis was first!

ccd image and observation Attached is the only image I was able to get last night of Panstarrs. Sky was great when I got to the observatory. As soon as I had set up the camera, the cloud started forming above the observatory! The full moon illuminating the thin cloud prevented any further observation. Amazing anti-tail imaged though. Length of anti-tail is 2.85 in PA 064 Shame about the weather and Moon, 20130525 David Storey
