A series of images combined in 'startrails' of the sun rising high in the sky, and the Moon skimming the southern horizon

John, this is very interesting. Were all the images taken one 24 hour period, or over many days?

This image was collected over a 24 hour period. The foreground landscape was pasted in afterwards (it is a bit more attractive than my back garden and is only half a mile or so away) I was careful to show it from the same compass point as the sun/moon images. The point of the picture was to show how the ecliptic changes with season or time of day. I hope that worked.
