This composite image shows the progress of the Penumbral Lunar Eclipse on 2017 February 10-11. The sequence starts with the pre-eclipse Snow Moon, which was captured at 21:33 UT. The top-middle image is the same as the first but enhanced to show the Moon's colourful mineralogy. The next four images show the actual Penumbral Eclipse, photographed at 23:38, 00:00, 00:23 and 00:45 UT respectively. The last image was taken at mid-eclipse.
