The BAA has recently awarded grants to a number of our members to assist them with purchasing an Alpy 600 spectrograph. To help these new Alpy owners, the BAA & Shelyak will be holding a residential workshop in Kintbury, Berkshire on the weekend of 28-30th October. We will be explaining how to set up and use the Alpy and how to process the resulting spectra. If you already own an Alpy spectrograph, you might be interested in participating in this workshop. If so, please contact me and I will provide you with more information. The number of places is limited and if there is too much demand we will give priority to BAA members.

Hi David
Sounds an interesting and useful workshop. Is it possible to attend the workshops only please as I would stay with family nearby for the weekend ?.
thanks
Steve
Hi Steve,
It is going to be a full weekend of talks and practical sessions, hopefully with observing in the evening if the weather cooperates, so staying there would offer the best chance to be fully engaged. I will contact you directly to discuss.
