Welsh star trail

Star trail from Harlech, North Wales from last night. Canon 6D with Samyang 14mm lens at f/4, ISO 640, 15 second exposures with a 1 second gap, for 7 hours (1576 subs) then the batteries then died; no filters. Stacked with Startrails.de (http://www.startrails.de/html/software.html), minor adjustments of brightness and contrast only.

I'd love to live under these dark skies. The forecast for the rest of the week doesn't look good though.

Very nice image

That's a really nice image. You obviously had very good skies there. The startrails software is very good and saves a lot of time when making pictures such as this.

Great image

That is a wonderful image James. It must have taken you a while to combine all of those sub exposures!
