This year the Deep Sky Section annual meeting is hosted by Rugby and District Astronomical Society (RADAS) and will be held at their regular meeting venue – Church Lawford Village Hall, Church Lawford, Rugby, Warwickshire CV23 9EE.
The event takes place on 27th February, and doors will open at 9:30 with the meeting kicking off at 10:00. The day is expected to close by 17:30.
Entrance will be £5 for BAA members and members of RADAS, and £10 for non-members – pay at the door. This includes refreshments through the day, and a buffet lunch.

The keynote “professional” speaker is Dr. Amelie Saintonge from UCL, who will give a talk entitled “Feeding, fireworks and feedback: the formation and evolution of galaxies”
