Mick Nicholls captured this eruptive solar prominence on 2015-09-30.  He set up his 40mm single stack PST h-alpha scope expecting to see "the usual stuff" and was surprised when he saw this prominence being blasted off the Sun's surface.  Mick used a ZWOASI120MM camera and an azimuth mount and hand guided to follow the Sun.
