Two weeks ago the POTW was Uranus.  Last week it was a spendid close-up of the lunar crater Langrenus.  This week it all came together when John Sussenbach captured this series of images as the moon slipped past the distant gas giant.  John has marked the equipment used and times of the three separate exposures on his image.  The Moon images had a 2 msec exposure time (total stack of 1000 frames) and the B/W Uranus  images were taken with an exposure time of 50 msec (total 200 frames). Subsequently the images were combined.
