Gary Poyner talk

Posted by Nick James at 00:11 on 2011 Jun 19

I've just linked Gary's talk from the May 25th meeting on the members' only video page. This was the George Alcock Memorial Lecture and it's worth a watch if you want to see how to make estimates of 17th mag variables when you are only few miles from Brum's city centre. Sorry about the sound quality.Nick.

Hi Guy's.Despite the poor sound quality. I toughly enjoyed watching Gary's talk. That 20" Is certainly some telescope. I take my hat of to you given you're light pollution.Your accent didn't bother me.
