Once again the skies cooperated to allow a clear view from my front garden. Mercury is the faint 'star' in the upper centre, level with the crescent Moon. Venus is at lower right.

It was very relaxing to observe them in the deepening twilight on a mild evening, accompanied by a background of songs from competing blackbirds.
