This asteroid has an Amor-type orbit and the MPC categorise the object as PHA (Potentially Hazardous Asteroid). They comment that astrometry is useful for orbit improvement.
At mag 15 this was near my limit for video astrometry. Using an integration time of 1.28s I recorded some video sequences of 2 minutes' duration and submitted the following astrometry to the MPC
G2082 n2019 10 16.857533 22 02 04.12 +71 38 38.3 15.3 R Z92
G2082 n2019 10 16.871226 22 02 31.49 +71 37 42.1 15.3 R Z92
G2082 n2019 10 16.885752 22 03 00.57 +71 36 41.1 15.6 R Z92
Analysis with Tangra gave the object's motion as 0.11"/sec (RA) and 0.05"/sec (Dec) equivalent to 7.25"/min, close to the MPC Ephemeris. It should reach its maximum sky motion of 22.5"/min on Oct 26 and a peak brightness of mag 12.4 on Oct 27.
If the monsoon season abates I hope to monitor this asteroid until at least the end of the month.
