Daystar Quark - Quality & Reliability question.

Hello, I am thinking of upgrading my solar viewing from a Coranado PST to something with more resolution. I have a Williams Optics Zenithstar 80 f6 refractor and was thinking this would be a good fit for the Daystar Quark CS.
I see that a number of people in the solar section use these with very good results however I would like to ask if the units are reliable as I have read in various forums that a lot of people have had problems with faulty units that have had to be exchanged or repaired.
Any insights would be very much appreciated.

Thanks
Paul
