I'd like to also get involved in lunar and planetary imaging for which I plan use a dedicated 12" classical Cassegrain and planetary webcams to be set up later this year.  In the mean time at the end of a nights session of obtaining photometric data I thought I'd turn my telescope and camera onto the moon. Using a short exposure and a R photometric filter I took some images at F:7.7 (2736mm)

Image capture was with MaxIm v6.14 and processing was done using PIPP and Registack. My first attempt at image processing.
