Noctilucent cloud
Observing location
Tarbatness Highland Scotland
There was a display of NLC seen here at Tarbatness last night. It was not as brIght nor as extensive as the big display on June 18 but it was more well defined. It had lacy structures and fine filaments spanning out from the north to east and west. Some parts were seen overhead. The sky was very bright here and that made the exposures difficult to get right. Two images almost simultaneous are attached taken with 14mm and 28mm lenses.
