December 2010, using a Canon 40D, 200mm lens, 100ASA, 4sec @f/6.3 from Derby, UK. The original image was taken in CR2 monochrome and then converted to TIFF and then JPG in Photoshop. At the time of the photo being taken, the moon was about 10mins from totality, but it was competing with the brightening sky from the sunrise. I was also plagued by some high cloud but managed to capture this image just as a bank of cloud slowly drifted in front of the darkening moon.
