Hello,
I have been blinking my FITS (blue) of the nova with the DSS (red) field in aladin, and I have noticed an object that moves. In the image below, the query object is above and left of the centre of the reticule.
Any ideas? The nova is very obvious on the right! The FITS is above the size limit for posting here, so I've uploaded it to Microsoft OneDrive.

The location of the query object is (J2000.0)
RA 04 43 52 DEC +47 22 22
I did a search for known objects with Astrometrica and nothing came up.

Simbad comes up with LSPM J0443+4722 a high proper motion star for these coordinates - good spot !

Thanks Robin. Hopefully the nova will remain bright enough till the weekend for me to deploy my C8 + StarAnalyser on it. I was a bit tired yesterday to attempt some low res spectroscopy. Your stuff looks great - I look forward to seeing how the spectrum evolves.
