Time stated is the midpoint of capture and is UT.

I recently bought the Cambridge Photographic Atlas of Galaxies, and I've been selecting some interesting ones to image myself.

Summarising the book entry for this object, the galaxy is (obviously!) a barred spiral, of type SB(rs)b. There are different estimates for the distance of this galaxy from us - 80 or 113 million light years away. It is between 100 and 150 thousand light years in diameter.
