NOTE WELL - This meeting was originally planned to take place on March 4 - if you booked for the March 4 date your booking will be held over to April 22 unless you inform the BAA Office otherwise.

If you booked and cannot make the new date, please contact the BAA Office for a refund.

The Deep Sky Section annual meeting for 2018 will be held at Bedford School, Bedford, hosted by Bedford Astronomical Society and Bedford School.

Please note that yes - this meeting is being held on Sunday April 22. Doors open from 10:00. Meeting will close around 17:15.

Parking for the event will be in the Pavilion car park in Burnaby Road which is through the gates off De Parys Avenue. We may also park some cars on the South side of the main building closer to the Old Theatre, particularly anyone with reduced mobility. There will be two BAS members to help.

Booking information

Advance booking is required for this meeting. You can do this by:

  • Booking through the BAA online shop
  • Contacting the BAA office on 0207 734 4145 (staffed 9am to 5pm, Mon-Fri).

The price is £6 for members, members of Bedford AS, and members of affiliated societies. The price is £10 for non-members.
This includes refreshments throughout the day and lunch.
