Thanks for the link it was a very interesting read. I see there were some observations from South Wales, it must have been very low on the horizon. Where I live in Risca just outside Newport we had very bad haze so I packed up observing early and only made one observation and that was of V1405 with difficulty.

Assuming this was the one we say from Bradworthy in Devon it must have been one of the brightest I have seen and had a strong bright green colour. It did not seem to leave a train but lit the ground up from the dark sky site we were at.
