I just caught the tail end of 29P/Schwassmann-Wachmann's latest big outburst last evening as it set in the west from Chelmsford, UK. The sky was very bright from the nearly Full Moon but I get around mag 14.3 in a 10 arcsec diameter radius. The expanding coma is now nearly 40 arcsec in diameter. |
