My 12P imaging session this evening shows the comet has developed an interesting/odd inner coma. There appears to be a bright photocentre with a bright, slightly linear region towards pa 45 deg. There’s a distinct dark shallow “v” towards pa 100 deg and a much less obvious dark broader “v” opposite.

My first roughly processed image is attached. It’s taken at 0.61 arcsecs per pixel and then enlarged by 200%. It’s a 14 x 60 sec frame stack with a 31.5cm reflector. North is up.
