IP Peg: Eclipse observations during the October 1998 outburst

Gary Poyner

These eclipses were observed visually with a 40cm reflector, making one eye estimate every minute for one hour for each eclipse. The observed times for mid eclipse agree well with published ephemerides provided by Dr. Bill Worraker.

See IP Peg: Making important eclipse observations

A further opportunity arose two nights later to monitor another two eclipses. Note the differences in the curves as the outburst progresses.
