SATURN SECTION

PICTURES OF THE 2009 EXHIBITION MEETING

 

The 2009 BAA Exhibition Meeting was held on 27 June at St Anne's court in Greenwich. The section presented a large poster observations of  Saturn, Uranus and Neptune made by section members made during 2008/2009. A few images of the meeting are shown below.

This picture shows the opening ceremony which was conducted by the Worshipful Mayor of Greenwich, Councillor Allan MacCarthy  (Left of centre).

The President of the BAA, Mr Roger Pickard is to the mayor's right. The roof of the old Royal Greenwich observatory can be seen in the distance.
