In a joint initiative with the Council for the Protection of Rural England, a campaign to raise awareness of light pollution and the effect on our environment was launched today.
More information, including comparative maps and what can be done to address light pollution issues can be found on the CPRE website.
The Radio 4 Today programme is supporting the campaign by running a 'Star Count' survey via their website.
