Planetary Ephemerides


This page contains some ephemerides which give useful information for planetary observers. Although the location used is for Cambridge, England the observable times will not be far off if local time is used at other locations within 5 degrees of latitude.

Much of the ephemeris information in the Astronomical Almanac and BAA Handbook is available from the Space University of Kiev, however you should double check the accuracy of their information.

Another valuable source of information is the JPL Horizons database, though the interface is a little difficult for the novice.

Mercury and Venus
