Geoff Johnstone’s observatory

My observing arrangements are centred on the summerhouse, where the telescopes are stored, and where mission control is situated. The pier supports an armillary sundial during the day, and the 200-mm LX200 when observing. Sitting on top of the LX200 is a 60-mm refractor. Both instruments can be used for visual observations, photography and CCD imaging. A separate ETX RA (not shown) has been modified by attaching a fast and slow hand controller, and is used for solar observations.
