A solar
flare Henry Hatfield |

1997 April 7. Two photographs obtained at 1407 and 1421 UT,
and traces obtained with the Sevenoaks radio telescope (1296 MHz and 136 Mhz)
at 1500 UT, with pen recorders at maximum deflection. This flare took me by
surprise, as I had observed that morning, and the associated small spot was
considered to be nondescript and inactive |
