SN2004df in anonymous galaxy, discovered 2004 June 27. Mag. 18.4. It is not present on images from May 18 and March 20 (limiting mag. 19.5) nor on Digitized Sky Survey plates (red, 1993 Mar. 21; blue, 1986 Apr. 8).
