Artist Christine Wakelin of Eye, Cambridgeshire, is an amateur astronomer, founder member of the Peterborough Astronomical Society and a supporter of the BAA Campaign for Dark Skies. Early in 2002 she offered, as part of her B-TEC HND Fine Art course, to create and donate a painting to CfDS, with a view to raising funds.

In Your Dreams (pictured bottom left) is now adorning the home of an art-lover/astronomer in Massachusetts, USA.

In November 2007, Christine completed her second opus for the Campaign, a fascinating and compelling vision entitled Euler's World (top left).
