81p 20221223 dbartlett

Currently fifth brightest comet in our sky, hovering right around magnitude 11 and just passing perihelion on December 15, 2022, is 81P/ Wild.

Occupying the same time slot as the brightening charismatic C/2022 E3 ZTF comet 81P/ Wild is not a favorite target of mine to image. With a mostly cloudy night on 12-23 the weather forecast called for a small window of clearing at 04:00 that morning. Here is 41 x 60 second subs stacked from that small window of opportunity.
???????Enjoy!
