Here's an unusual shot of my favourite comet - the observers were myself and
Eric Watkins, who scheduled the observations, obtained with the Las Cumbres
Observatory 1.0-m Ritchey-Chretien at Sutherland, South Africa (K92).

The field of view is 26' square and 29P/Schwassmann-Wachmann had outburst a
little over 24 hours earlier attaining r' magnitude 12.9. This was its 100th
outburst that I have documented using observations dating back to 2002
August, which time marked the beginning of routine monitoring of comet
nuclear magnitudes by amateur astronomers using Herbert Raab's software,
Astrometrica.

The comet and planet appear in a particularly photogenic juxtaposition.
