Finally managed to image this comet again last night, and obtain a low-res spectrum. Beautiful skies from a 1000m elevation site and I managed to see it visually (naked-eye) as an extremely faint star-like object that could be held in averted vision for long periods. Unfortunately I left my binoculars at home! Attached are a montage with analysis, the spectrum and a full frame at 200mm (stack but otherwise unadjusted). |
