Lovejoy C2014 Q2 is rapidly growing brighter as it makes its closest approach to the Sun in early January! It is easily seen through 10x50 binoculars and is a majestic sight through a 16 inch reflector. This eleven minute exposure was through a 16” scope and a KAF8300 chip. Distinct streamers emanate from the nucleus.
