Got a rushed shot tonight of C/2014 Q1 (PANSTARRS) in twilight, 08:20, 17 July 2015 UT. Just home from a work trip, mad rush to set up in the back yard, will hunt up a flat horizon if it's clear tomorrow night. The shot is the full frame, Canon 650D & 200mm lens, 5 x 4 sec, ISO 6400, F/5.6. Surprised how bright it is - comet was clearly visible in sighter frames of 2 sec exposures taken at 55mm. |
