This comet is now within one of my regular nova search fields and last night it showed up well. Attached is the full frame image with the comet showing as a little green dot near the top edge of the frame, centre. The two bright stars are the Pointers to the Southern Cross with Alpha Centauri closest to the centre of the frame. |
