Comet is adjacent to Eps Phe and appeared slightly fainter than this star to the unaided eye. Estimated magnitude 4.5. Through 8x40mm binoculars, the ion tail is traceable to 4 degrees in PA 155. The tail length in this 6 minute photo is 7 degrees. |
