21)I have captured the comet last night with 24mm lens at F2, using Astro 40D at ISO 400 and 8 minute exposure. I should have had the comet further to the right in the FOV as the tail extends out of the frame giving it a tail length of over 36 degrees. On small thumbnail images I notice a fork tail with one extention passsing above Canopus. I wanted to take some longer exposures, but cloud arrived cutting my night short, Lester Barnes. |
