Photo of aurora taken from the village of Michelago (Lat: 35° 43' S Long: 149° 10'E) in New South Wales, on Kodak Max 400 at f/3.5 on 2001 March 31 at 13:45 UT (+1 minute exposure time). The stars in Octans are seen with the South Celestial Pole near the apex of the brightest central region. The Magellanic Clouds are just visible in the auroral glow.
